Referrals
Referrals are invited for patients in pain, routine root canal treatments and root canal re-treatments. Cases involving traumatic injuries to the teeth or the cracked tooth problem are welcome and surgical endodontics is also available.

Techniques
Root canal treatment is carried out under a microscope.  Nickel-titanium rotary files and ultrasonic techniques are used routinely for preparation. Hot vertical compaction methods are used for root fillings. Magnification and ultrasonic preparation are also used routinely in surgical cases.

Appointments
Appointments can be made at short notice or very short notice for emergencies.  Normal surgery hours are:  8.30 am to 3.30 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and 8.30 am to 1.30 pm on Fridays.  Occasionally the surgery is open on Wednesdays.

If you would like to refer a patient for consultation and treatment you can contact the practice by letter, phone or fax. Relevant radiographs are useful.

Mark is happy to give advice on endodontic treatment and procedures, or to undertake consultations in cases where a second opinion is needed.

All patients need a consultation prior to treatment.

Root canal re-treatments attract the highest fees in the range.
